Celebration – Training – Acrobatics – Roda – Swimming & Fun
Where: Centennial Park (Meeting point – near the Cafe/Restaurant on the grass area, It’s the only restaurant in the park).
Time: 8:30am -10:30am (Meet at 8:15am)
What to bring:
· Capoeira street pants
· Fruit Salad and water (Your breakfast)
· Sun scream
· Towel
· Swimming costume
Important Details:
Please note this event of for Aruanda students only as its a training day.
It’s going to be a great sunny day of course but if happens to be raining we will postpone to another day.
Special Note:
All students must know why the 20th November is an important date for capoeiristas?
You might be asked why is that on the day.
Parking should be available all around inside the park and near the restaurant.
When we finish the activities at Centennial Park, we all head for a swimming at Coogee Beach.

On Sunday, 18th Septemper 2011 Tumbalong Park will come alive with the tastes and sounds of Brazil. The festival will feature cultural performances, art and craft stalls and traditional cuisine.
Importantly it will feature a performance from the group Capoeira Aruanda!

This Saturday the regular Syndey class will not be running instead Capoeira Aruanda will be making their way to the Winter Magic Festival in Katoomba for a Workshop & a Performance Roda. This is a great event with many people coming from all over the Mountain and NSW and the perfect time promote Aruanda Blue Mountains.
The event will be located at the Roundabout stage near the train station main st Katoomba. Please ware White Abadas and Aruanda T Shirt.A reminder that this time of the year in the mounatins will be cold, so bring your warm clothes.
Most importantly bring lots of Axe and Energia!!

From 20 Feb – 27 March the 2011 series of Roda de Rua will be filling your Sundays with music, capoeira, acrobatics, samba & amazing open rodas on the beach!
There will be 4 workshops, 5 beach rodas, 1 Moonlight Roda & a BBQ to finish it all off. Check out all the dates, times, location & price details
Please prepay in class for the number of workshops you would like to attend & to receive your Roda de Rua singlet!
There will be no class this Wednesday Jan 26 as it is Australia Day.
