Berimbau Workshop

This month we will be running a 2 hour Berimbau Workshop on Sunday 25 July. This is a chance to practice with Borracha to improve your technique and learn new rhythms. The workshop will run from 1pm – 3pm with a break somewhere in the middle. It will be held in the Academy, 37 O’Conner St Chippendale. The price for casual students is $25 & students who are registered for monthly classes receive a discount & pay $20.

August Acrobatics Course

Also coming soon up is a 4 week acrobatics course. Inspired by our new floor we have called the course ‘Flip for your Floor’. The main focus of the course is to learn how to Backflip. Courses are 4 weeks of 2 hour workshops; Sundays 2 – 4pm. Course dates are August 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd. The price for casual students is $120 & students who are registered for monthly classes receive a discount & pay $100 for the four weeks.
